We practice lunar timing slightly differently. The full moon is when we begin waning magic. The full moon is the most powerful time for waning magic, not waxing magic. The new moon is the most powerful time for waxing magic. This goes for how we practice any type of magic where we take the lunar phases into consideration, not just Angel magic. It’s important to understand also that we teach that no magic is to be practiced on the dark moon. The dark moon is called the "new moon" in all lunar calendars. The day before, the day of, and the day after what is called the new moon in the calendars is what we call the dark moon.
The actual new moon is the first day following that three-day dark moon period. You know i's a new moon if you are able to see a small crescent in the sky just after sunset. If there is cloud cover, you just have to go by the calendar.
Thanks for this post
thanks
Ariel can you explain why there is no magic on the dark moon /the logic behind this? Always wondered. Thank you!
Thank you!
