MM,
I am a mother of 3 beautiful children, after experiencing infertility for many years (thank you Ariel for all your guidance to get me to this point!). As my children are now growing, I'm wondering the best ways to teach them my beliefs or lead them/guide them in their spirituality as we are not "out" as a family (my husband is an agnostic but is very supportive of the craft). The oldest is 5, and we often talk about fairies as they are the most tangible (seems like every storybook has a fairy in it!) and we have a fairy garden, leave offerings for the fairies, etc. But lately she's been asking about church and God and Jesus and what happens to people when they die (the rest of our extended family is Catholic & Jewish). I want to keep things simple but also not tell her anything that could cause her harm/ridicule. Any good resources or advice? Would also be curious about any good resources for parenting- my littles are 5, 3 and 1 and so life is very overwhelming and frustrating at times and I hate losing my temper (I am a fire sign so its bad!). Thanks in advance & BB to all.
MM Lauren! That‘s a difficult but beautiful question. I can‘t really help with parenting since I don’t have children. But I would say: try to be as honest as you can. Tell her what you know and what you don’t know and maybe what no one can know.
I wish all the best for you and your children! BB Susanne
